Darkness and Stars

Shadowflower padded at the edge of her territory. Two StarClan cats laughed at Shadowflower's ragged fur. She snarled. The two cats were her sisters that she killed, Flamepetal and Snowflower. "Shut up, or I'll kill you a second time!" 

Flamepetal rolled her eyes. "Come and try, Frog-brain!"

"Yeah, as if you'll come over here!" Snowflower sneered.

Shadowflower felt Adderclaw move in beside her. The she-cats gasped. No cat would ever go near Adderclaw. They ran off. Shadowflower faces the tom. "Thanks, Adderclaw. Your like a big brother to me," She purred. Adderclaw smiled. "I don't think them fox dungs will come back." Together, the two cats padded into the forest

ShawdowWater padded in, her footsteps barely a whisper on the marshy ground of the forest. Her eyes narrowed as the light from the StarClan territory illuminated her face. Quickly, she ducked back into the cover of the trees.

Splinter wandered around the forest, bored.

Shadowflower padded up to Splinter. "Bored?" She mewed.

"Of course."

Shadow sighed. "There's an apprentice called Snakepaw than needs training." A small dark brown tom was chasing a butterfly.

Splinter nodded and strod away. He padded up to Snakepaw, "Hello."

Snakepaw looked up at him. "Hi! Who are you?"

"My name is Splinter."

"Thats not a clan name!" He sounded confused. "Oh well. Where am I?"

"Of course it isn't, I was banished from my clan long ago, and stripped of my clan-name. It was Dustbite, once." He sighed, "You are where those that want to be great warriors go, and where they become great warriors."

"Cool!" He yowled happily.

Splinter smiled.

"What's first?" He yowled, practically waiting for a swipe on the face.

"First, you watch and listen."

He snapped his mouth shut and stared, wide eyed, at Splinter.

"I'm going to charge you, when I do you drop onto your back and kick me up into the air. When I fall, you pin me. Do not be afraid to use your claws when I am pinned, of course."

Snake frowned, but then nodded and braced himself for the charge.

He charged him.

Snake growled.

He flipped onto his back and kicks him into the air. When Splinter landed, he pinned him down, claws unsheathed.

"There! How was that?" He mewed.
